EDMONTON, AB, October 19, 2026 /CNW/ — Dr. Phone Fix Canada Corporation (TSXV: DPF) (“Dr. Phone Fix” or the “Company”), one of Canada’s fastest-growing and award-winning national consumer electronics lifecycle platforms, has announced that it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with GEO Nova Scotia (“GEO” or “Getting Everyone Online”), a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing digital inclusion across Nova Scotia.
Under the MOU, Dr. Phone Fix will provide a comprehensive range of device lifecycle services to support GEO’s programs. These services will include device procurement, inventory management, donated-device assessment, repair and refurbishment, device preparation, accessories, packaging, fulfillment, shipping, tracking, and environmentally responsible disposal of devices that are not economically or practically repairable, subject to GEO’s approval.
The partnership builds on GEO’s ongoing efforts to improve digital access throughout Nova Scotia. Since 2022, GEO has distributed more than 8,500 devices, including nearly 3,500 refurbished mobile phones and iPads. The organization has also provided more than 4,500 home internet and mobile phone connections to individuals who might otherwise be unable to afford these essential services.
GEO delivers its digital inclusion initiatives through an extensive network of more than 125 partner agencies across Nova Scotia, helping individuals and communities gain access to the technology and connectivity they need.
“This relationship is a strong example of how the infrastructure we have built at Dr. Phone Fix can support customers well beyond the traditional retail environment,” said Piyush Sawhney, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dr. Phone Fix.
He added that the Company can manage a wide range of device lifecycle services, from procurement and inventory management to assessment, repair, preparation, and final delivery to end users. Through this collaboration, Dr. Phone Fix will contribute its device management and refurbishment capabilities to support GEO’s mission of making technology more accessible, while helping extend the useful life of electronic devices through repair, reuse, and responsible disposition.
