Based on a revenue growth rate over three years, 425 companies are ranked. They were made available on the company's website along with editorial coverage in the October issue of Report on Business magazine.

An editorial ranking called Canada's Top Growing Companies was introduced in 2019. Its goal is to raise awareness of the successes of creative Canadian companies. A total of 425 businesses were ranked in this year's edition.
